Scary Painted Windows . Halloween in Frenchtown NJ

One of Frenchtown NJ’s most enduring and strange traditions continued this weekend as local students from Frenchtown Elementary School descended upon the shopping district to turn store display windows into canvases. This is done every year in town a few days before Halloween, and the masterpieces remain on view until after the Halloween Parade. In the photo above, a huge green monster roams a landscape of of Peter Maxian swirly colored clouds or mountains.
