Allentown's Location in the Region

Some of Allentown’s most popular and famous restaurants range from historic inns to trendy contemporary yuppie martini meccas to classic American diners.

Bachio, on Cedar Crest Boulevard on the westside, is a hip and trendy Trattoria, which Answers.com defines as: “an informal restaurant or tavern serving simple Italian dishes”.

The Brass Rail, on Hamilton Street downtown boasts the ability to make an entire family happy, no matter what Mom, Dad and the kids are hungry for.

The Bethlehem Diner on Catasauqua Road at I-78 (Interstate 78) on the city’s Southside is famous for it’s Allentown address and Bethlehem namesake, hearty breakfasts and for being open 24 hours a day (most days that is).

Other notable and memorable dining establishments are, The King George Inn, in business since 1756, Louie’s, a famous Allentown BYOB and Grumpy’s Barbeque Roadhouse, that even Southerners brag about.
