Alligator Soul

Alligator Soul is located in a basement location in the heart of downtown Savannah.
Alligator Soul is a fine dining restaurant with rustic stone walls, a fireplace and linen tablecloths tucked away in a basement on Barnard Street next to the Telfair Museum of Art and Telfair Square. It is owned and operated by chef Hilary Craig and his wife, Maureen.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of fine steaks, veal, lamb, seafood, venison, duck and lobster on a menu that changes seasonally. Some of the most distinctive items on the menu include: a giant 32 ounce rib-eye, a 16 ounce “cowboy” veal chop, a speckled trout roulade, a vegetarian special and more. (note these selections might change from time to time and you can check out their menu online, or give them a call) They also have a bar for wine, cocktails and after dinner drinks. Their selection of desserts ranges from a blueberry shortcake to a ganache fondue.
