Favorite New Wine: Evolution By Sokol Blosser Winery

We’re not wine experts, but when we find new wines that we love, we like to tell you about them. Our favorite new blend wine is Evolution by Sokol Blosser.

Evolution is a fine complex white wine that is a great wine for parties. It has a really strong character that makes one want to drink it by itself or serve it with some fine bold cheeses. We do not recommend pairing it with chicken or fish as it will overwhelm those dishes.

The wine is made by Sokol Blosser of Dundee, Oregon. It’s “a blend of 9 varietal grapes that are beautifully blended to achieve a marvelous bouquet and intriguing complexity. Sokol describes the wine as a “lush, off-dry, somewhat tropical wine with a crisp finish”.
