Hotel Near Paula Dean’s Restaurant

There are tons of good choices when it comes to hotels, motels and bed and breakfast inns in Savannah, but which ones are the closest to The Lady and Sons Restaurant? This feature answers that question.

The first thing that we should say mention in this feature is this: We do know how to spell Paula’s last name. We didn’t in the beginning and that is why we made this page. Paula Dean’s Restaurant is actually Paula Deen’s Restaurant. If you arrived at this page by making this mistake, you are not alone. I always assumed that Paula Dean was related to Jimmy Dean, the famous singer/sausage man.

OK, now onto hotels and great places to stay near Paula’s restaurant. To make it really easy for you, we have made a special Google Map for you that shows you the restaurant and all the hotels pinpointed and listed. See our special Lady and Sons Map Here.

The hotels, motels and bed and breakfast inns included in this feature are:

  1. The Days Inn @ 201 West Bay Street [closest to restaurant]
  2. The Hyatt Hotel @ 2 West Bay Street [second closest hotel to Paula Deen's place]
  3. The Garden Hotel @ 321 West Bay Street [a Hilton Hotel]
  4. The Marshall House @ 123 East Broughton [a small locally owned hotel]
  5. The Planters Inn @ 29 Abercorn Street [a small locally owned hotel]
  6. Doubletree Hotel @ 411 West Bay Street [national chain hotel]
  7. River Street Inn @ 115 East River Street [a small locally owned hotel]
  8. Ballastone Inn @ 14 East Oglethorpe Avenue [a small locally owned bed and breakfast inn]
  9. East Bay Inn @ 225 East Bay Street [a small locally owned hotel]
  10. The Hampton Inn @ 201 East Bay Street [national chain hotel]
  11. Quality Inn Motel @ 300 West Bay Street [the only motel in our feature]

Update: A few months ago we went back to Savannah and stayed in a new hotel called the Country Inn & Suites on Montgomery Street. It’s only a few blocks away from the Lady and Sons and all the other great restaurants downtown. The inn offers great prices and the room that we stayed in on the 5th floor had ceilings that must have been 12 feet high with windows that stretched almost floor to ceiling. The view is not incredible, but the light is marvelous. The foyer is quite grand for a hotel that is so economical and the free breakfast was quite good.
