Jasper Johns @ The Philadelphia Museum of Art

I have always loved the work of Jasper Johns. The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a great small collection of his works that are housed in their own room in the modern section of the museum.

This image is of course from the flag series by Jasper Johns. It is an amazingly fresh, loose painting that is beautifully precise at the same time. It shows why Johns is such a master.
