In warm weather you can dine alfresco along the canal at Hamilton’s Grill or at Lambertville Station and at other spots in town. In cooler weather, Hamilton’s has an open grill room, and other restaurants offer fireside dining.
Before or after dinner, stop in at the Boat House, down an alley, off Coryell Street. The Boat House is one of the funkiest spots for a cocktail or a glass of wine in the entire region. Lambertville is also a great place for window shopping along antiques row on North Union Street or Bridge Street. If a late night snack or a good cappuccino is more to your liking, try out Lambertville Trading Company across from the Catholic Church on Bridge Street.

Bell’s Tavern
One of the oldest Lambertville restaurants , Bell’s has been in business for 73 years. They have one of the few Guinness Certified taps in the United States, feature a good selection of wines by the glass and 12 different vodkas. Bell’s features items like: Peel and Eat Shrimp, Calamari, Carbonara, Puttanesca, Vegetable Lasagna, New York Strip and Delmonico Steaks, Bread Pudding, Tiramisu and cheesecake. They are open for dinner every night of the week. They also offer take-out.

Buddies Diner
Buddies is located on Route 179, a couple of blocks north of Main Street. Buddies is a new restaurant that opened in July of this year. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. They are also open on Thanksgiving this year. The menu here is gigantic. They feature items like:a Cuban sandwich with roasted pork and ham, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, a “Tahamburger” [a hamburger with Taylor ham], BBQ pulled pork tacos and jumbo lump crab cakes.

Cross Culture
Cross Culture is new to our Lambertville List. They serve lunch and dinner every day. They are a BYOB restaurant that specializes in Indian haute cuisine. They serve vegetarian and meat dishes. You’ll find famous Indian specialties like chicken, lamb or beef curries. You’ll also find less well known dishes like: Shrimp Achari [shrimp cooked with onions, garlic, tomatoes and fresh chilli peppers that's flavored with pickled spices] and Lamb Saagwala [Lamb prepared with fresh spinach, coriander, and other armoatic herbs] and Chicken Cashmere [Chunks of chicken cooked in a mild cream sauce with cashews]

De Anna’s Restaurant
A contemporary Italian eatery, De Anna’s has grown with Lambertville. It is one of our favorite Lambertville Restaurants. They offer indoor and outdoor dining in a relaxed but upscale environment. They serve dinner Tuesday to Sunday. They feature a full service bar with cocktails, wine and beer. The restaurant is best known for their simple and fresh homemade pastas.

El Tule
El Tule serves authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant has taken the place of the former 49 North Main. It’s named after a famous tree in the Mexican town of Santa Maria del Tule. They offer casual dining for lunch and dinner, outdoor dining. They are a BYOB restaurant. You can also get take-out. They also offer Peruvian dishes on their menu.

New Hope Restaurants
New Hope Pennsylvania is Lambertville’s sister across the Delaware River. It is one of the oldest art communities in the nation and the best known travel destination in the region.
It is a popular weekend escape for residents of New York City and Philadelphia.
It is one incredibly beautiful place with a funky spirit and a great feeling to the place. It is the original Funky Town. You are welcome. I have seen some really nasty things being said about some restaurants that I know are not true. There are some people that are just out to kill their competitors and some of these review sites just don’t care. I think that one day these restaurant review slam sites will be charged with libel and slander. Freedom of speech is one thing, destroying someone’s business because you’re pissed and you’ve been handed a microphone is another!
